GTS submits tariff proposal for 2026

On March 6 GTS submitted the proposal for the transmission tariffs in 2026 to the regulator ACM. In addition, GTS calculated the neutrality charge for 2026. The neutrality charge and the transmission tariffs together form the total tariff for the capacity products of GTS.

The tariff proposal shows an average tariff increase of around 50% compared to 2025. The tariff increase is mainly driven by (i) higher revenues due to multiple recalculations and (ii) a decrease in forecasted contracted capacities.

Households and other small consumers pay for the national transport of natural gas via their energy bill. Because the costs for the national transport of gas are less than 3% of the total energy bill, the impact of this increase for consumers in 2026 is expected to be minimal.

The 2026 tariff proposal and the neutrality charge are further explained in the document below.
