Instructions in case of QC shortage
On Tuesday February 6 this year, GTS organized an informative market session. Among other topics [RJ(1] the way in which GTS provides instructions in the event of a shortage of quality conversion capacity (which is expected to occur rarely) was explained.
The presented slides can be found here,
As of now, the announced way of working is fully implemented in our dispatching centre (CCP). Shippers of which GTS expects that have a position in G-gas storage facilities might receive instructions in case of a shortage of quality conversion capacity.
How will this look like?
CCP expects that a shortage of conversion capacity will arise shortly
- Lower your G-gas exits, or (if necessary) increase your G-gas entry.
- CCP will call the operational (24/7) contact person.
- The instruction will be confirmed by e-mail.
Important: Following the instruction is a legal obligation!
In below example you can see how a potential instruction by mail will look like. Depending on the situation at hand CCP will choose one of the 7 optional texts marked A to G or a modified version.
