Presentation GTS market session 6 February 2024 is online

On Tuesday February 6, GTS organized an informative market session. The topics discussed all revolved around the impending closure of the Groningen field. First of all, the session provided an explanation of the advice on capacity and volume required for security of supply in gas year 24/25 that GTS (in accordance with its legal obligation) submitted to the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy on January 31 last. Subsequently, the issue of how to ensure security of supply in the future, with the pending closure of the Groningen field and the increasing dependence on import flows was discussed. Finally, the way in which GTS provides instructions in the event of a shortage of quality conversion capacity (which is expected to occur rarely) is explained.
