Tariff decision 2026
On Monday the 25th of May, the GTS tariff decision for 2026 was published by ACM.
On average, the tariffs for 2026 will increase by approximately 50% compared to 2025. The tariff increase is mainly the result of (i) higher allowed revenues as a result of higher costs that are recalculated, such as energy costs and (ii) a decrease in the expected gas transmission capacity to be sold.
Compared to the tariff proposal of GTS, the ACM has replaced the estimated inflation of 1.7% from GTS’s proposal with the actual inflation of 3.8% (February 2025) in the tariff decision.

Neutrality charge
In addition to the tariffs, GTS sets a neutrality charge based on the Grid Code Balancing. This charge settles costs and revenues from balancing activities, including the pipeline buffer flexibility service, emergency settlements and costs due to defaults.
In 2026, the amount that will settled via the neutrality charge will be approximately EUR 11.7 million.
