Yearly auction on Prisma and creditworthiness
The Yearly auction will take place on July 1st 2024. The auction concerns transport capacity from October 1, 2024 to October 1, 2039
If you intend to participate in this Yearly auction on Prisma, we would like to point out that you must have sufficient credit in place with GTS. We recommend that you check this beforehand in Gasport.The credit limit must be valid until 4 months after the end of your contract. Note that this applies to all future years for which you acquire capacity in the upcoming auction. I.e. if your contract runs until 1-10-2026, your credit limit must be sufficient until 1-2-2027.
Your credit limit has to cover at least;
- The expected exposure, which is based on the monthly amount of your planned Yearly booking, multiplied by 3.
- Your current exposure, which is visible in Gasport (via Financial - Exposure position)
If you want to adjust your credit limit, we kindly ask you to deliver the additional credit before Wednesday the 26th of June.
After the quarterly and monthly auctions of 2 years ago it became apparent that possible price steps in the auction process can take up a great deal of the credit limit of shippers, which caused a rejection of bids in some cases.
Furthermore, we emphasize that the credit limit will not be adjusted on Prisma during the auction day, the upload of credit limits to Prisma takes place once a day, early in the morning.
