Capacity exceeding invoice

The ‘capacity exceeding’ invoice charges for the capacity-exceeding amount (> 2% operational margin) per hour of entry and/or exit capacity contracted per gas day at the network point. Only the highest capacity overshoot in an hour, per gas day, per direction, will be charged.

The tariff for the overshoot is equal to the tariff for a monthly capacity product for the month in which capacity was exceeded.

How can you check a capacity exceeding invoice?

You can check a capacity exceeding invoice by comparing two screens in Gasport.

  • First you search for contract position via ‘Contract position’ -> ‘Transport contracts’ -> ‘usage rights’.
  • You can then compare this with hourly offline allocations in Gasport at the relevant network point via ‘Historical’ -> ‘Offline allocations’.

Under ‘Time & Unit’ select the relevant time period on the left and the relevant network point, for which you want to check the data, on the right.
