Peak supply advance and final invoice

The ‘peak supply’ advance and final invoices are used to charge for the peak supplies reserved by GTS for small-scale users; this charge is invoiced to suppliers who are active in the G1A and G2A distribution segments (small-scale users) or to shippers who are active in the distribution network and have signed the third party agreement for suppliers as their shipper. The file for the third party agreement is shown below.

The invoice is prepared based on data from the Central Connection Register (C-AR) of the joint distribution system operators.

The reservation is calculated based on the first month’s messages (the OV Exit messages) (M1, advance invoice) and then four months later based on the final data from the C-AR (M+4, final invoice). You can find an example of these invoices below.

The peak supply invoice consists of two types of cost, production costs and transport costs:

  • Production costs. These costs are invoiced every month. The invoice only shows the cost of reserving peak facilities.
  • Transport costs. These costs are only invoiced in the winter months (January, February and December).

There are two types of appendix, a PDF appendix with a breakdown by EAN code, standard yearly volume and capacity and an XLS appendix with a total for production costs with, in the winter months, transport costs too.

Reserved peak supply capacity is billed through an advance invoice (based on M1 data) sent on the first working day after the month of delivery and a final invoice sent after four months based on M4 data. The difference between the M1 and the M4 values is charged on the final invoice.
